Anyone remember the 4 black teenagers that kidnapped a handicapped white boy in Chicago?

What is a hate crime? and why does torturing a white person while spewing anti-white vitriol at them not count?

You deny the events depicted? That those four people did not detain and torture that man? You deny reality, and hide behind your epithet of troll because you find it unpleasant. I have bad news for you - they streamed it. You can look up the evidence yourself.

1. I did not deny that the events happened. I said that the OP was cherry-picking an outlier example in order to portray a larger trend of white men as the "real" victims of prejudice. Considering his overall posting history and obvious political allegiances, I am entirely confident that this interpretation of his post and motives is correct.Robovski wrote:The Romulan Republic wrote:"I'm going to cherry-pick a single outlier to imply that white male conservatives are the REAL victims, and liberals/black people are the REAL terrorists!"

2. Since this was clearly stated in the immediately preceding post, you are either illiterate, or a liar. Since you were able to write this post, I assume that you are a liar.

You are delusional. And more but I'm not interested in another warning. The Romulan Republic wrote:1. I did not deny that the events happened. I'm "delusional" because I disagree with an obvious attempt to flame-bait and portray white men as the ultimate victims of society?
Or because I pointed out where you objectively misrepresented what I wrote so you could attack me?

This appears to me a miscarriage of justice, and I certainly see an overall explicit anti-white bias in some areas of society, especially academia (where apparently calling for a day without white people is fine). But we should keep in mind that we don't know why the hate crime charges were dropped in this particular case. Judges often do things that bewilder me, and, IMHO, we shouldn't assume racism was the motive without further evidence.Antiboyscout wrote:Anyone remember the 4 black teenagers that kidnapped a handicapped white boy in Chicago?

Just as we shouldn't assume racism is a motive in many situations where others might assume it.
Re: Chicago judge drops hate crime charges in Trump supporter torture case
What I don't understand, is why some leftists act like conservatives are crazy or some racial extremists for wanting laws to apply fairly between races. In my opinion, and by the generally accepted definition of a 'Hate Crime', this is clearly a racial, politically charged hate crime. Now I'm not going to get in a fuss and encourage mass riots on the streets because something in the courts didn't go my way, like certain other groups which shall not be mentioned. This kind of action by the court isn't abnormal after all, we would probably see more details leak out over the next few days over why this was done. My only problem here is the seeming hypocrisy on display with many radical leftists, which ironically just goes to show there are people who have anti-white sentiment, bordering on hate.
Though IMO, I never much liked the concept of "hate crime". A crime is a crime, whether your motive was that you hated the guy for his race, or simply disliked him as a person, it really shouldn't have a bearing on your punishment for the crime.

I'm against hate crime legislation as a concept, but if they're going to have it, it should be enforced equally. This is an obvious case of racial discrimination, but naturally the regressives will not see it that way, because "social justice."
