Genesis from tng seemed horror based. I’d bet there’s a lot you could do in the ravages of space, though yeah it’s probably not going to get much more familiar than beyond new worlds.

But no. Now they fucking lay eggs in people making all of our fears of them completely justified.
Yeah that is annoying.

So how long until we get a Star Trek cooking show, Hell's Kitchen style?
Or maybe a Man vs Wild survival show, only on alien planets? That look like Canadian forests, for some reason.
Or better yet, The Office but with Federation officers instead? Only with 100% unfunny cringe humor.
No, wait, here's a better idea: "The Thick of It", starring Admiral Sheer Fucking Hubris?
I mean, hey, Paramount has to fill their streaming service with literally anything.

I would 100% watch the Thick Of It one.
One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars.

I think a Klingon version would work better.

I still have money down for a Star Trek teeny bopper series showing bunch of teenagers going through their first year in Starfleet Academy.

So you know, strange occurances where they gotta Scooby Doo it. Love triangles. Someone has a secret. Someone unsure if they belong there. All of those horrible tropes.
I got nothing to say here.

On the other hand, what's the point of "Star Trek" if it becomes nothing but a name and a 'skin' to package standardized television product in?

So Star Trek has essentially turned into what Ian Malcolm warned Jurassic Park would turn into.

Hasn't yet. But getting close I would think.
