Celebrating Pride Month: Scenes and Stories You'd Like to See if Marvel or DC Bought Dreadnought?

Personally of the Big Two I would prefer Marvel to buy Dreadnought and all the characters within it because on the whole Dreadnought feels more like a Marvel character then a DC character. As has been said before DC characters are ones we look up to, ones who we aspire to be like while Marvel characters are ones we relate to. Their flawed messed up and even with all their powers and skills still feel like people which fits Danny to a t.

Thus this silly idea, what scenes or stories would you want to see if Dreadnought was made part of the Marvel or DC universe?

For me I would like to have scenes like J. Jonah Jamison punching a transphobia reporter who tricked him into getting an interview with Danny because while JJ can be an ass he's usually a good person and will not put up with such BS. Speaking of the Spider-Man cast I could also see Danny becoming friends with Miles & Peter and I for one have this idea of Danny and Miles playing a racing game while Peter and Doc. Impossible cheer their respective kids on.

I also would love to see Danny and Steve Rogers develop something of a father/daughter relationship with one scene being Steve giving Danny a side arm hug while Danny leans on his shoulder. Lord knows the girl could use a good father figure in her life. Deadpool I could see being that crazy uncle to Danny that you know you should never leave your kid alone with but have this morbid curiosity of what the end result would be if you did. Personally I could totally picture Wade teach Danny how to use corpses to spell out you enemies name and Danny just sitting there with her mouth open wondering "Who the Hell thought leaving me with this guy was a good idea?"

As for slightly more serious situations I would also like to see Danny in a fight with The Hulk just to see who would win. While Hulk is likely the stronger of the two Danny does have speed on her side but she's also arrogant and that causes her no end of issues but the Hulk's rage often keeps him from thinking straight.

I also have to admit I'd love to see how she would interact with Dr. Doom. Personally I don't think he would give 2 shits about her being trans and only be interested in her powers and how they could possibly be transferred to him. Think about it the Dreadnought powers not only allows you Superman like powers but give you you're ideal body which is something Doom would be interested in given that it not only grants him powers but would also remove his scars which is one of the many things he wants in life.

I also think she'd get along swimmingly with Kamala Khan with the two becoming fast friends.

Honestly I have no idea if Marvel ever would buy the series but if they did I think it would be great as, again, Danny would fit the universe like a glove. Thoughts?

I personally hope someone other than the big two, because knowing the big two Danny will be nothing but cannon fodder for the next big story, or because some jerk writer decided someone needs to die, and minorities sadly are usually the first to get the axe. Seen the latest spiderman story?

I honestly just hope April Daniels gets to make a third novel. It seems that was cancelled due to lack of sales.

Dreadnought the character is fine but it's April Daniels, the creator, who makes the magic.

Agreed. I need the conclusion to the Nemesis trilogy and I need April Daniels to benefit from it.
