Should I Give Sam Nishimura Eyes Blue?

Odd one I know but one thing that I've found funny about Sam's design is the number of times it's changed. First there's her wardrobe, while she has a signature outfit, (leather jacket, light brown pants, black t-shirt) she's almost always has a different outfit in every story she shows up in. Even in The Legend of Lara Croft gives her a new outfit to wear.

Another thing that's changed is in A Survivor is Born Sam's hair is dark brown but in every other appearance she's made her hair is black. She was also a bit more tanned in ASIB but in everything else she is very pale. Honestly I prefer her with black hair and pale skin and having a near unlimited wardrobe but one that that's always stood out to me is her eyes.

For the most part Sam's eyes have remained the same, Brown just like Lara's but in the issues drawn by Philip Sevy and color Michael Atiyeh the color of Sam's eyes often changed a few times. It's brown but other times their grey or blue. This was a simple mistake and often happens in comics especially when they're being rushed (during one issue Sam's last name was Nakamura instead of Nishimura which they fixed in the trade) but it never the less stuck with me.

As I mentioned before I want to give Lara red hair and I also wish to give her paler skin and green eyes cause I think that would be a color look (and might actually allow Lara to look good in teal for once (just my opinion but I think Lara looks terrible in her signature color t-shirt)) but with Sam it's a bit more then that.

I honestly love the idea of giving her blue eyes as it's a rare in generally and especially rare in people of Japanese decent which would be a nice plot point as we would see that Himiko also has Blue eyes AND this is what leads Mathias to choose Sam along with her looking a lot like Himiko in addition to her knowing so much about the history of Yamatai.

Also, I think it's just a cool look for Sam.
