I don't know if this is necessarily ridiculous, more ''just for fun.''
The Borg vs the Replicators from Stargate.
They both fight basically in the exact same way: assimilation. I think Borg nanoprobes vs Replicator nanites would be an interesting discussion. On the surface you might think nanites, but McKay has shown quite a few times that the base code of the Asurans was pretty fragile. I know that the Asurans aren't the replicators, but it is something to consider.
Also something to consider might be Borg plus Voyager vs the Replicators.
Technobabble is their THING. If anyone can invent an anti-replicator weapon or a nanite defence, it is them.
When I say ridiculous I mean one sided fights that some actually take serious.
Like a Terminator T-800 versus a Predator. Predator's tri beam weapon is capable of killing a Terminator. Sure s Terminator might exceed the strength of a Predator, but they have weapons that can actually damage or destroy a Terminator. Nevermind if a Terminator can even detect a Predator.
Another example would be Punisher versus Superman. You have to create a whole scenerio where Punisher would know about Superman and his weakness to even level the field. Even then, the way Punisher would work is basically using a gatling gun with kryptonite bullets and pepper Superman with it. Best case scenerio for him. But outside that, he is just a human with guns that have no effect on Superman.
Not a ridiculous fight would be like Sentry versus Superman. Robocop versus Terminator. Captain America (comics version, MCU is actually stronger) versus Batman. Hulk versus Doomsday. And so forth.
Replicator versus the Borg is pretty interesting.
I got nothing to say here.
