This was my favorite too.

I think it took me on my third viewing of DBZA where I put that together. At first I thought Freiza was just surprised at Goku's straight forwardness. Totally slipped my mind that Freiza earlier was counting the speeches he heard.

Another favorite of mine is the change they made to why Piccolo ends up on Namek which is a result of Krillin wishing him there instead of Piccolo demanding he be brought to Namek to fight Frieza.

Krillin: Let's wish him to Namek"
Gohan: Wait, What?
Piccolo: Wait, What?
Krillin: Little Green, wish our friend Piccolo back to life, and then with our next wish, bring him to Namek.
Piccolo: Hold on a minute, don't do that! That is a terrible i—(is resurrected and brought to Namek)—dea!
(Piccolo can be heard screaming in the distance)
Dende: He is on Namek.
Gohan: Wait, where is he?
Dende: On Namek.
Piccolo: (in the distance) YOU DUMBASS!
Krillin: Why didn't it bring him here?
Dende: You must be specific.

I liked the whole thing with Gohan and Piccolo even though it's low key funny. DODGE!

Also I am amused with the conversations Piccolo has in his head with Kami and Nail. Again there is a scene DBZA made where Vegeta in between the Cell Games and Buu Saga was looking for a fight. He comes to Kami's lookout and Piccolo is just minding his own business. He has an internal conversation with himself chuckling to himself and breaks one of Popo's things. Where Piccolo rats on Vegeta. It's funny to me.
