This didn't really sink in until now, but it's weird Disney of all megacorps put out an entire series of blatant antifa propaganda.

It's a telling of perspective, I think. Fox for instance had been recognized as a media company with populist (or just overtly moderate) facets with its news which was met surprisingly with conscious material being written for the small screen.

I feel that putting FOX into a simple box is a huge mistake. Is the network right-wing overall? Certainly. But that isn't the network's primary mission. It's primary mission has been and still is: Do what makes us money. If that means letting Groening shit on the network every second episode on his shows, then it's fine. Heck, FOX is the one news outlet that actually openly opposed Trump's banning of AP. No, not because of any love for AP or hatred for Trump, but because AP is a news aggregator that sells news to FOX and this action thus deprived FOX of a news-source for marketable information. If you could somehow convince a lot of left-wingers to put the kind of money the right throws at FOX down, you'd create the most balanced news-outlet in a heart-beat.

Fox News (as opposed to Fox which Disney owns now) used to do this trick where the actual news programs weren't bad, but then those shows were sandwiched in between all the completely batshit commentary programs that the network has successfully argued in court that no reasonable person should believe. Guess which ones generated all their viewership and ad revenue.

I say "used to' because those reasonable news folks have pretty much all been purged now.
