Raise a glass to Partagaz. He may have been a jackbooted space Nazi but he was an officer and a gentleman right to the end.

I like the interpretation he killed himself not because he couldn't talk his way out of the problem but the realization that his entire job was protecting a bunch of monsters who would make the galaxy less ordered with their atrocities.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 2:27 pm Raise a glass to Partagaz. He killed himself because he was disgraced after a high-profile failure. Leaving someone in that situation alone with a pistol is a time-honored way of letting them exit with a bit of dignity. I don't think there was anything deeper than that.CharlesPhipps wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 6:46 pmI like the interpretation he killed himself not because he couldn't talk his way out of the problem but the realization that his entire job was protecting a bunch of monsters who would make the galaxy less ordered with their atrocities.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 2:27 pm Raise a glass to Partagaz. I mean I literally said that's not why I think he committed suicide in the first sentence. Mostly because he was listening to Nemik's manifesto.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 10:56 pmHe killed himself because he was disgraced after a high-profile failure.
