In any old and new canon. Or semi canon, licenced fanfiction. I hope everyone is fucking happy.
There was an NBA player recently retired who refused to dunk and jumped less to preserve his body.
Does the Force completly absorb the giant leaps they make?
Do older Force users have to diet and exercise, strech a lot to get their body able to handle the insane movements they make enchanced by the Force?
Does preserving their athleticism/body a goal for the Jedi and Sith?

Sadly part of the answer I think is in EU. Luke explaining to someone. I think it was Mara Jade but I could be mistaken. That there is a correlation to fitness and enough will to manipulate the force. So they could not just sit around all day then just run five miles powered by the force.
The only clues that this may be true are Obi Wan from the first movie. No jumping twirling etc. He moved like he was old. And Yoda in Return of the Jedi. Who seemed barely able to walk. But considering how much he seemed to be faking in Attack of the Clones, it might not hold up much.
So yes they need to be fit, and unless SW medicine can repair that kind of damage. I would imagine old jedi would indeed be injured doing what they did when young.
