I'm not really getting the fuss of Mary Sue still. The fan fiction was obviously contemptible, but it doesn't apply to most any movie or show that people enjoy. In the video the person explained that it's been extended even to the mainest of characters, but like who cares at that point?

It's to the point where people are rationalizing whether or not a character is a Mary Sue while the other 7/8 of the people that saw it don't notice or care because either way it can apply to any character that has an unexplained positive attribute.
..What mirror universe?

The casuals fill the wallets of corporations. But it is the movie wonk / book wonk / tv wonk who shall decide a works place in history...

So does finishing that statement with an anime gif make you feel more impressive as a person?
