Robert Pattinson is Batman

So now we have officially new and 7th live action Batman.

If you don't count Lewis Wilson or Robert Lowery.

Well this is interesting. I am learning about more actors that I didn't even know about that have played role of Batman.

They show the old serials on TCM from time to time.

So now we have officially new and 7th live action Batman. Yes, there has been 6 actors before this playing that one character. In comparison with other two members of Trinity we have had so far 3 actors for Superman and 1 actress for Wonder Woman. Granted that that in case of Wonder Woman that 1 actress is doing really good job with that role even when material around her (BvS and JL) is bad.

Saying live action is a little misleading. Because you seem to be leaving out TV series.

Well seems like I wasn't clear but I was counting people that have played Batman in live action instead of number of movies so I didn't leave out TV show. Adam West (TV series and 1966 movie that was based on it), Micheal Keaton (Batman 1989 and Batman Returns), Val Kilmer (Batman Forever), George Clooney (Batman & Robin), Christopher Bale (Batman Begins, Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises), Ben Affleck (Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League) and now Robert Pattinson. So that's 7 actors in total for Batman.

Of course if you count TV show and movies instead of actors number is even higher because some of those actors played Batman in more than once. Total number of those (if counting upcoming one with Pattinson) is 12. No wonder that most people either only know Batman or maybe some other DC characters that have gotten they own movies. Then again DC and WB see Batman as they cash cow so they only gave others chance again on big screen because they had to thanks to MCU being so successful.

It's more Superman where the number as there have been at least 7 live action Supermen, George Reeve, Christopher Reeves, Dean Cain, Tom Welling, Brandon Routh, Henry Cavill, and Tyler Hoechlin
