The Enterprise crew would die from Covid-19 (The Naked Time)

(Lets add this to the list of ''episodes that i thought Chuck has reviewed but hasn't''.)
I have just finished watching ''The Naked Time'' again and wow does this crew do literally everything wrong when dealing with the Psi 2000 virus.

First off, a redshirt (well blueshirt) decides to remove the glove of his hazmat suit (one of the only times it should be pointed that Landing Parties ever wear protective gear) whilst surrounded by corpses that have died mysteriously just to itch his nose. He then proceeds to handle a piece of equipment, rub his ungloved hand over an unprotected surface, and then itch his nose with that hand again before putting the glove back on.

He then returns to the Enterprise, from the planet where everyone died mysteriously, with a skin condition on his hand and sweating. He tells no one.

He then continues to note his skin condition and sweaty body but tells no one.

After trying to stab himself and giving the virus to Sulu and Riley through contact THEY tell no one about their skin condition and sweating bodies even though the blueshirt that they just touched has just attempted to hysterically commit suicide after returning from the planet where everyone mysteriously died.

And this continues. Person after person contracts an obvious disease until after it has infected half the ship they are like ''huh, maybe we have a disease on board.'' It also should be noted at this point that social distancing would have saved everyone.

In a way though I kind of feel as if this episode is rather prophetic. If the humans of Roddenberry's Star Trek cannot social distance then what hope do we have? No one hoards toilet roll though. Although they probably use the three seashells by this point.
