Yes, but just because paranoid one is, does not mean being followed one is not.

In Episode 4? All he says to Luke is that Anakin was "the best star pilot in the galaxy and a cunning warrior" and that "he was a good friend". I think it was pretty much covered in the prequels, especially in Episode 3. But I'll admit Clone Wars has been better at it.
Its not what he says its HOW he says it - with reverence. You get nothing less than the impression that Obi Wan and Anakin were like Harry and Ron, Kirk and Spock, Sonic and Tails.

That is not what we got. Oh, they crack a couple of jokes here and there, but for the most part, they bicker, bitch, belittle and bemoan. And they never, ever, reach a level of on-screen respect that earns the smile that is on Obi Wan's face in Episode 4.

Although maybe we should blame Alec Guinness for this. The man was such a good actor that he could portray a thousand words with a single look. Maybe the script did in fact call for a more deadpan feel, but then, this consistently high standard of acting is one of the reasons why the OT is so beloved. I can only imagine what a man of Alec's skill would have thought of Daisy Ridley - whose main technique of portraying emotion is to open her mouth progressively wider.
It almost certainly didn't call for a more dead pan delivery because at the time Darth Vader wasn't Luke's dad.

Now I don't think the opinion is blasphemous. But I do think it is incorrect. On Hoth Luke has not checked in and is over due with a storm approaching. Can't take out a vehicle with a heater as they are still not doing well with the cold. So he gets on an animal to go out there.
"Your tauntaun will freeze before you reach the first marker!"
"Then I'll see you in hell."
Does not come across as bickering acquaintances. That is a pair of friends willing to lay down their lives for each other.

That's what's great about distancing the movies apart.

Like by the time RotJ comes around and Han comes back to the rebellion, I like that he has to personally adjust and acquaint himself with the bits that have changed while he was away.

I have many problems with the prequels mainly the dialogue but going from 3 to 4 was never a big stretch for me. In fact Rogue is a nice addition to it honestly.

Big problem from 3 to 4 is Anakin and Vader. They are practically different characters. I have a hard time imagining an older Hayden under that black suit as Vader.

Maybe a Vader movie set between 3 and 4 would help.

I know the Cline Wars certainly did better in making Anakin show his eventual fall.
I got nothing to say here.

Supposedly that was deliberate. Canonically (both canons) even Vader thinks of Anakin as a completely different person.

Personally I prefer Machete order. 4, 5, 2, 3, 6.

I like that. Replace Clone Wars movie with Episode 1 and problem solved.

I am more of 4-5-6-1-2-3.

I haven't figured out how to include 7-8-9 yet into the viewing order yet. Maybe they have to be seperate.
