Okay, gonna be honest, this actually looks really interesting. Don't know enough about the film to really be exited about it but one thing I do like is how Raya is the focus of the trailer instead of the comic relief characters or the Deuteragonist and one of the reasons I really like that is because Raya is being played by Kelly Tran, aka Rose Tico from the Star Wars Disney Sequel Trilogy.
While I'm not a big fan of TDST and personally think that Rose is one of the WORST characters in all of Star Wars (mainly due to her abusive treatment towards Finn and her choice to screw over the entire Rebellion to save Finn and which (if not for Rey and Luke) WOULD have likely ended in Finn getting captured and, at best, getting killed (at worse he likely would have been tortured to death)) Tran did NOT deserve all the harassment and hate she got.
Yes, she played a bad character but so did Robert Pattinson when he played Edward in Twilight and he, and the rest of the cast for that matter, didn't deserve all the hate that they got. So, I really am rooting for Tran in this film and I would like to be able to see the film in theaters if things are safe by then.
