I previously posted when we were just starting out, but our Star Trek comic is now nearly a year in and we finished our first "episode" and have now begun the second. (Effectively part 2 of the 2 part pilot.) The first installment of Episode 2 also features a cameo from the TNG crew.
In Part 1, Commodore Jeffrey Bannister (who was given a mostly archaic rank by popular demand after saving a planet mostly by accident) manages to get funding for his idea: Federation Star Defense. A branch of Star Fleet dedicated to the military aspects most of Starfleet prefers to downplay, but, with the specter of the Borg and other threats, cannot completely ignore.
Banding together a crew of "misfits" and a ship cobbled together from Federation junkyards, they find themselves on a mission to save a crew of Starfleet shadow ops who have uncovered an unknown threat.
Our comic is an action/comedy, but is meant to be a (mostly) serious story. We use Lego as our medium, with considerable Photoshop editing (and no default facial expressions). I hope you all check it out... if you like SFDebris' opinions on Star Trek, I think this will be up his fans' alley!
