Have the Star Wars Prequels Been Vindicated by History?
Re: Have the Star Wars Prequels Been Vindicated by History?
Well way I see it Legends is also mess so IMO it's far from being perfect unlike some Legends fanboys seem to think. My opinion is that Disney and Lucasfilm were right to get rid of that and use some of better parts from it in new canon. But then again I do like things from so I am not really biased towards either.

It's not flawless. I'm objecting to the "elitist" attitude those in charge and even Legends haters who are fans of the new canon subscribe to, that it's a mess, thus it was "good" to purge it.

I have seen plenty of those in Youtube comment section of SW lore videos so those people exist.Slash Gallagher wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 5:05 amWho are these Legends fanbois running around telling everyone Legends is perfect?Mecha82 wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2019 5:53 pm Well way I see it Legends is also mess so IMO it's far from being perfect unlike some Legends fanboys seem to think. First you got Dusty Bridges, a wise-crackin' two-timer that will roll over on ya real quick if you don't keep your eye on'm.Slash Gallagher wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 5:05 amWho are these Legends fanbois running around telling everyone Legends is perfect?Mecha82 wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2019 5:53 pm Well way I see it Legends is also mess so IMO it's far from being perfect unlike some Legends fanboys seem to think. Then you got Rory, who's gotta temper a little too hot for a lot of people's taste. Now you're watchin' your own steps here.
Next up is Tommy Freckles, and he's the leader of the group who's got dirt on everybody but nobody's got anything on him.

Probably unless it's more than just a few words or sentences, it's people missing Legends because the new stuff is inferior.

It's that "everything was better in my x" mentality that Superboy Prime was turned to parody that some fans have that personally I don't agree with. Not that I have been hiding fact that I don't share more negative opinions that some in fandom have. While we are all Star Wars fans it doesn't mean that we have to have same opinions about everything when it comes to this franchise that we love. It's just that some take they love of Legends so fat that they pretend that it was flawless when that's not case or that new canon has nothing good.

Like I said I don't share that opinion. As long as you don't claim that it's truth and everyone should think same way I have no problem that you have that opinion and we can agree to disagree. In other words as long as you are mature adult about this matter we can talk like mature adults about this topic. It's toxic people that want everyone on fandom to think same way and have same opinions that I have problem with because they tend to push they opinions on others and find ways to dismiss opposing opinions.
