Rexy of course.
She ate the annoying lawyer. (She was just looking for him when she broke into the car.) She tried to eat the even more annoying Ian. (Sorry, Ian fans. I just can’t stand the character, but I give Jeff Goldblum credit for making him...mostly tolerable.) Then she rescued the group at the end.
This, of course, refers to movie Rexy, not book Rexy.
On a more serious note...all the dinosaurs. The Big One is probably my favorite character in the first movie.

Re: Should Jurassic Park have a "hero?"
That leads to an interesting question: wouldn't dinosaurs have zero immunity to modern diseases and therefore they are all doomed even without the lysine deficiency? I guess the answer is that the dinosaurs might have been engineered with some immunities, but that fails at fridge logic when you wonder just how it caught whatever disease made this particular dino sneeze.Madner Kami wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 9:17 pmSome people just want to watch the world to burn.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 12:49 pmIn a time of Covid your favorite is the one that sneezes over everybody?Meushell wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 7:00 am Rexy of course.

Clearspira, Dinosaurs had their shot and nature selected them for extinction. You're just taking all the work of generations of scientists before you, and you didn't even take the time to learn it yourself. And now you're selling it. You're selling it.

If by sneezing, you mean killing, then yes. I feel her upbringing contributed to her...mentally unsuitability. I understand the Big One had to be stopped, but I feel bad for her.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 12:49 pmIn a time of Covid your favorite is the one that sneezes over everybody?Meushell wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 7:00 am Rexy of course.

If you don’t mean that, then I’m not sure what you mean.

They'd lack immunity, yes, but they'd also lack compatible diseases in the first place. And that brachiosaurus doesn't need to be sick to sneeze, it could be an allergy, which would be fridge-brilliance, given that allergies are most likely at least partially caused by a bored immune system, devoid of anything to fight against...clearspira wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 9:55 pm That leads to an interesting question: wouldn't dinosaurs have zero immunity to modern diseases and therefore they are all doomed even without the lysine deficiency? He meant sneezing, as in putting slime all over Lex' face.

Then was it a joke question? Don’t we all really watch for the dinosaurs? Now it’s a COVID issue because one sneezed? The brachiosaurus isn’t even the dinosaur I specified, which is why I was confused by the question.Madner Kami wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 10:03 amThey'd lack immunity, yes, but they'd also lack compatible diseases in the first place.
