I really liked the portrayal of Supergirl. I thought Arrow verse did the multiverse better.

I like the DCAOM version because it feels like an appropriately dark short story. It fits well as a second basement of a building with the vending machine you want to go to. Michael Keaton's action is great, but I'd kind of like to see what Affleck did with that alternate universe take. I get though that it was originally his father, it's also just the perfect time for Affleck to conquer this cynical take on Wayne.
The main problem with the movie is just too much in what was supposed to be a Flash solo film. Instead we get a Justice League movie in a way. We get two totally different Batmans in actions scenes, we had a way too long Cage Superman doing some weird CGI cameo, another more annoying Flash, and a Supergirl instead of Cavill's Superman which would have worked better. Only because we already have movies establishing him as opposed this Supergirl who really doesn't have alot to go on.

The Flashpoint storyline would have worked alot better if it was a true Justice League movie. Have Wonder Woman versus Aquaman like before. Along with Jeffrey Morgan as the Batman Dad Batman. They did have enough characters to make the movie.

Oh well.
I didn't really miss the Atlantean/Amazonian war. It would imbalance the whole thing running along with all the lighter family drama.

I think Zod was done just about right.
..What mirror universe?

Is there a more inconsistent civilization in comics than the Amazonians? Sometimes they're just very strong women with an Ancient Greek level of technology. And sometimes they are able to kick the ass of the entire world! (''bees, my god'')

They never explain why their arrows are capable of penetrating a tank hull or flying faster than a fighter jet either. We're just meant to handwave it and move on.

I do wonder who signed off on using the image of Supergirl in the Flash movie since Helen Slater is still alive.

Understatement of the decade. The fact that the studio went out of it's way to make another version of them that was somehow even MORE annoying honestly makes be wonder- was this some sort of The Producers plot? Was the company TRYING to make a film that bombed which would somehow make them more money?

Maybe they wanted to see if they can bury the snyder verse harder after the snyder cut didn't make nearly the money snyder bros promis.

Two thing that popped in my head about this movie about Ezra's Flash. The Baby Saving Beginning has him running low on energy and needs to eat something. That was never brought back up in the movie. Maybe you could count the time when More Annoying Barry Allen crashed when he first tested his abilities.

Second thing that was so obvious I am surprised I missed it. The whole moving of the camera to save his Dad. Basically he learned nothing from tampering with time.
I got nothing to say here.

Which is even worse when you consider that the whole point of Flashpoint is Berry learning to let go and NOT use time travel for his own benefit. While I do think that this film is an improvement over FP in a lot of ways it's in many ways worst because it misses the main theme of the story which it even makes a big deal of only to completely forget it in the end.

Well yeah. That should have been the theme of the movie as well. Don't toy with time. Like Kirk's line in ST5: 'Don't take my pain, I need my pain'.

Tbh, I think even if the script was better it would still probably bomb just because of a combination of Ezra Miller, superhero movie fatigue, James Gunn canceling this universe, and the state of movies right now.

I also think a Flash movie should have been done as a solo movie just like how Aquaman and Wonder Woman and all other Marvel movies were done. But of course this Flash movie is just one more example of the complete failure of Synderverse DC universe.
I got nothing to say here.
