How do you guys think the new Trek series will approach the Prime Directive?

Probably in line with how VOY and ENT treated it - less likely to interfere when it's some kind if extinction-level disaster, more likely to interfere if a group of people are being exploited in some way.

Oddly enough, it's the exact opposite as we see the Federation save a people from extinction in the first episode.

That made my heart happy actually. Like they clearly made the effort to not otherwise interfere (all though one of the aliens saw them so in Star Trek that probably means he starts a religion around them and ruins the culture or something ... rather than being dismissed as a crazy person), but they went out of their way to save those people.

And the fact it pissed off the kind of people that try to justify all those people Janeway and Picard doomed angry was just icing on the cake.
