If you wanted to blend Star Wars and Babylon 5, what about Mr. Morden? What would his counter part be like?

I kinda want a show about a team of Jedi in the high Republic area that were loser who clearly never make knight so the lot of them becomes pirates.

Maybe a Force user not found by the Jedi or the Sith using his abilities to influence and cause chaos for his government, group or whatever.
