Guess I am kinda in a minority, nothing new, but I love Buffy. I am don't any of her stuff or anything but I remember looking forward to the show every week. I think I just like how Buffy on the one hand knew that she had this calling and this destiny but I am still going to try and enjoy being a teenager and go to dances and have friends and everything else.
The supporting cast was good too. I really don't get the Xander hate. It's true that he didn't change a lot but I though that worked for him. He was the average guy trying to deal with witches, a slayer and all the supernatural stuff. In fact the Zeppo is one of my favorite Buffy episodes. The ending awesome.
There is even a Xena reference in Buffy. In the first Halloween episode people start buying costumes that are cursed. People end up becoming whatever their costume was. Buffy dresses up like a dumb defenseless 17th century girl. Willow who became a ghost because that is how she was dressed mutters "Why didn't she dress up like Xena"?
