It's got the best ending for miles around. I mean it doesn't involve anybody of a protected class or anything, but that's not necessarily a requisite for quality, see.

Re: The Batman
The ending isn't worth the preceding hour or so of hack-job AU writing.

I've only seen it several times, but I think the last half of it is more enjoyable than the first half.

"What if all the amazons were evil and Atlantis was also evil because reasons" is one of the worst ideas in comic book history to not involve Joe Quesada.

What if it's wasn't even any of that? What if Amazon and Atlantis were at war because Aquaman's wife Mera was murdered by Wonder Woman? Because Wonder Woman had an affair with Aquaman and Mera confronted her? So Atlantis declares war against the Amazons. No Superman and no Flash. No Batman as we know it either.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 5:41 am "What if all the amazons were evil and Atlantis was also evil because reasons" is one of the worst ideas in comic book history to not involve Joe Quesada.
It's a nice what if.
I got nothing to say here.

Re: The Batman
No it isn't. It's a ridiculous premise, poorly conceived and ill-justified, and regardless of the initial cause of the war it all depends on both entire societies turning aside almost all their regard for human life and going all scorched earth on each other and the surrounding planet. That's evil.
That's even laying aside how contrived and ridiculous the affair and murder thing was if you even pretend that it's just the events that are changed rather than every important aspect of the characters involved.
