You have a prominent latino lead-character, a black everyman's-man, a disabled white man and a plucky and indipendent goth-chick and the wise old white man Egon. Ticks all the boxes, doesn't it? Patriarchy, man-splaining, under-representiation of women, inclusivity of minorities and women, everything, all at the same time in one package. Heads would explode if this series was released today, as this show is both SWJ and anti-SWJ at the same time.
In what way does it have a WARRIOR attitude towards social issues?

Klorbagger there was an entire episode explicitly about anti-semitism.

So now calling out white supremecists and Nazis isn't SJW bullshit anymore? I'll add that to my notebook.

For starts it came out in the 90s before the term was even used.

Why did you say that people on the right think everytime a Nazi or a White Separatist gets called out is SJW bs?

There seems to be a sort of Poe's Law in play with that kind of thing, I've noticed. Media that people rail against for being "too-SJW" is so muddy or poorly-written that I can't tell if it's written by incompetent SJWs or a shrewd troll satirizing one, which just undermines everyone's arguments pretty damningly.

I don't see it with XGB though, at least. The show was diverse and fairly progressive, but doesn't come close to the sort of modern media climate I see in popular movies and shows today. It was never really about those things, except in the inclusive way you'd expect from a progressive teen-audience show.

Extreme Ghostbusters has the blessing of being made during a time, where the "culture war" (I'll hijack that word here) was not a thing yet and the radicalization of both sides hadn't yet left the middle ground as the no man's land it feels to be today. It's surprisingly inclusive for the time and it wasn't played to placate, it felt organic. Personally, I didn't get into the show, I disliked the drawing style and it kept me from enjoying an otherwise well made show. I am absolutely convinced, that it would make a great foundation for a movie.
