I don't follow. They've all been pretty different, Craig doesn't even come across as human. It's not like they've all been Scottish.

Although, there is precedence for your suggestion. Blofeld had some pretty impressive plastic surgery done on himself.
Doesn't matter. They are still all meant to be the same guy.
Serious question: have you ever spontaneously changed race?
Serious answer: no. I've also never changed height (once an adult), build, or birthplace so drastically either. Bond has changed actors that in no way resemble each other many times. They are all the same man. I don't see that his melanin is significantly different in that regard compared to the other changes. More visible, perhaps, but not significant.

Not much room. It's a fan theory that requires ignoring several piles of evidence clearly stating it's not true in- and out-of-universe, while manufacturing circumstantial support based on wishful thinking. I find it amusing as a what-if, but that's like saying "What if the Doctor is actually a delusional human and not really an alien at all?" Could you make a case for it? Probably. But beyond the superficial it's going to require the same kind of anti-logic used by conspiracy theorists.

Could Bond have gone that route with 007 being an alias? Certainly, and it probably would have been the smarter choice in the long run, but they didn't. The only reboot in the franchise has been the abysmal Craig films. Losing all of that continuity on top of being miserable movies really hurt them, so I'm glad it took that long for them to even try it.

Well, you clearly know more about the films than me, so I must bow to your expertise in the area of Bond.

There are a lot of them, and having seen them all I can say they're really all over the map when it comes to quality. I can't blame most people for having seen only a few (if any) and going off of a culturally memetic understanding of the franchise.

One thing I've noticed, as an aside, is that there are a lot of "parodies" in other media that seem to have missed that the Bond films themselves (some more than others) don't remotely take the action very seriously and have almost always made jokes at the franchise's own expense while the so-called parodies which came later act like they've discovered some novel deconstruction. While I'm given to understand the original books are oh-so-serious, the movies rarely hesitate to laugh at what was, even in the 1960s, already-tired spy-movie tropes... and then often go all-in with them anyway for the sake of High Adventure or absurd action. Some of the films are more serious than that, but with over 25 films there's a lot of comedy even in the early installments.

As for the overt sexism, it didn't take long for the movies to wag a reproachful finger at the problem by the early '70s (Bond is especially bad with this in the first few), so that it was already addressed quite a bit by the time they make it overt with M's chastisement in the Brosnan movies, and worn out by the Craig films (even though they're still mired in it, making his movies blatantly hypocritical).

The doctor, on the other hand, is an alien who dramatically changes physiology and personality. Going from a frail old man to a swinging slutty twink like David Tennant is much more dramatic than a simple thickening of tits and outie-to-innie. And that is all assuming that Time Lords have human-shaped genitals. Until somebody makes canon porn or the right anatomical jokes happen in the show, for all we know they've got cloacas.
The films themselves are inconsistent on this point. Roger Moore in ''The Spy Who Loved Me'' was clearly hurt by Tracy's death when Anya brought it up. That is some good acting on his part if it was another man's wife. There is the ''Goldfinger'' DB5 in ''Skyfall''. There is the fact that every Bond seems to have been an orphan.

The Rani once kicked the Master in the balls so they must be designed at least somewhat the same. And didn't the Master have a human wife?

OK, Doctor Who, the character goes through a bunch of bodies over the decades and fans bitch about out of all of that one of them is female?

I am a person who probably watched only two or three episodes, so I have no idea the history of the show.

This sort of thing strikes me as the same reaction when rumor talk starts talking about a female Bond.

Though a general consensus is that Idris Elba is a damn near perfect Bond. Though too old now.
The Doctor is an alien who can regenerate 12 times (he can do many more now) and is a time traveler. Each version is a different personality as the process mixes up your brain. Until recently, there was no implication you changed sex but it wasn't beyond the realm of possibility. Still, geeks love things to NEVER CHANGE while demanding change in the same breath. They cling to the comfort of the familiar while insisting the shows they love continue to surprise.
There is a difference between possible and probable. Throughout the classic series, the Doctor never mentioned it, the Master never mentioned it, Susan never mentioned it, Romana never mentioned it, the Rani never mentioned it, nor did any side NPC Time Lord that we ever met.
Only when the BBC decided to force this down our throats from Matt Smith onward did this start to get raised.
Why do you find a sex and gender change so much more implausible than gaining or losing a few dozen pounds or a foot of height, or rewiring your brain? For that matter, why is it more dramatic than growing back a severed hand?
Something else that bothers me about this on reflection: why do Time Lords and Time Ladies have gender? As in, why do they call each other he and she and grandfather etc? Surely a race that has no fixed sex would be beyond such concepts? This is actually one of the things that really dates The Culture novels by Iain M Banks as for a race of creatures who are beyond sex and gender they sure have a contemporary view of pronouns.

Speaking of the master it got me thinking if the master while in the Tremas body got someone pregnant would the offspring be half Timelord or half Trakkan?

You don't need human anatomy to satisfy a human wife. All you need is a tongue and/or fingers.

For some reason, I read this in Tennant's Doctor voice.

The internet is awash today with the rumour that Olly Alexander is in final talks to be the next Doctor Who.

I guess that means the ''woman experiment'' was a resounding failure then
Gotta say: I like the Adventures of the female Doctor. She's good, she's cool, she's an awesome person.
Sure, some stories are - say - less than stellar, but honestly: I don't give a flying fart. The next episode is going to be better.
And the supposed "Canon-Changing"-thing, that the Doctor can now regenerate as much as s/he pleases? So what? Where is the problem? That is going to save the show - well, unless some idiot like Michael Grade stumbles into power and moans, that Doctor Who would be rubbish.
That Depp (Idiot in German) and his "oh, let's have a look at TNG, how superior that show is to doctor who"-attitude - something Chuck would disagree on, I'm sure - led to the shows demise. One could say: "He hated the show, wanted it to go away, so he made it disappear."
