You sound paranoid, as if this partisan politics is everywhere. Cultural shifts are inevitable. And as someone noted else, the left dominates the culture while the right dominates the government. So even if you think that the left is getting out of control, don't worry. The right will soon counter that in their own way.

Politics is a paranoid business.

It was inevitable for Star Wars to jam some American Partisan Politics in there.

Inevitable? if it's not in there the movies don't make money? How was it inevitable?
How about the left acts like adults instead of wannabe Kamikaze's and everyone can be happier about the culture? That was the promise of reducing the power of the social conservatives.

Also the countering can take a while and shit's gonna be miserable till some normality returns.

You label a big corporation as "the left." It's not. It's just a greedy profit-driven business that doesn't care about art, creativity, and imagination. Just making money, as ruthlessly and cynically as possible. Again, that something like the Exchange is part of Star Wars in KOTOR shows it can work, the idea of class struggle and an organized mob of criminal businessmen. The current crop of incompetent writers at Disney and Lucasfilm, however, aren't talented enough to pull that off. Hell, what they're doing with Legends shows that, cherry-picking Legends elements to plaster into the new and so-called "respected" canon. It shows they're not innovative and imaginative enough to actually design their own fresh reboot with new aliens, new races, new characters, new worlds to explore that's completely different from Legends. It's just... bleh.

Why did Sony handle Ghostbusters as it did? Why on earth does K. Kennedy cape for female fans? Why did they even hire people who cannot shut up about their politcs?

Why did ABC let go off a hit? Why are these companies acting like some journalistic cabals have sway over them?

Yeah we clearly need Star Wars to battle arthouse movies in who can make a better critique of whataver.

Star wars is Eternal, does not need innovation. It can cherrypick ideas from lieterature, IRL history and other genre movies. There is no point in SW joinning that race of innovating the medium of film outiside of maybe action scenes.

I don't know anything about those cases except the Ghostbusters one and hey, I'm not against an all-new female Ghostbusters cast on principle. If you're against four female Ghostbusters but just fine with four male Ghostbusters, what does that say about you? Though if the story is incompetently written and lazily directed, that won't save it. And that's the way it should be.

I notice you didn't even address my point about class struggle, you just went off on a tangent about other stuff. Again, I don't mind bringing up class struggle in Star Wars if it's done well. It needs to be more subtle. And it's ironic you'll bitch about the casino scene, which from all accounts sounded like it was maybe ten minutes long, if that, maybe twenty at most, but then... are you equally outraged by the big corporate powers plotting to take over the galaxy in the prequels? And if not, why?

It would not say anything bad or good.It would say nothing about me.

People from 90s franchises time travelling would think Female Ghostbusters PR handling was insane.

If you think a sentence is not adressed quote it again seprarately that is how i do it.

The prequels also suck, i was hoping that now that architects of the MCU took over we can get away from that.

Well, at least you're consistent on that. I myself love the prequels, at least in novelization form.

Do those portray the Sep council as interesting for the right reasons?
