Speaking of, fingers crossed for Hondo! Get all the surviving Clone Wars era underworld types that mentored Boba involved. Maybe have Aura Sing turn out to not really be dead too, why not.Thebestoftherest wrote: ↑Thu Feb 03, 2022 10:37 pm He could be captured, or only wounded. He and FEnnec has a history, plus count dooku was capture by pirates just because they are not in the same league doesn't mean you should count them out.

Yeah let's put it this way. He is one of of the best of the best and has fought Jedi. He has to morals as far as we know. He probably could take out the Mandalorian by just shooting at the areas where he is not armored. He is a very good shot.
I got nothing to say here.

But which color blue would he have been? Or how long that brim of his hat should been. Never thought of that?

Possible final episode twists:
-Nothing is resolved, it's all just backstory they didn't want to cram into season 3 of The Mandalorian.
-Thawn cameo in the last minute.
-Omega shows up.
-Revan shows up. This is never explained or acknowledged.
-Cad Bane ends up the rightful wielder of the Darksaber (they did this story beat with Maul already so probably not).
-Boba Fett ends up rightful wielder of the Darksaber. Bonus points if he takes it off Cad Bane. This one seems likely.
-The Rancor, and therefore Danny Trejo by proxy (does his character even have a name?), becomes rightful wielder of the Darksaber.
-Grogu saves the day wearing Beskar and wielding a lightsaber. We all know this is coming eventually, the twist would be they use it already.
-Grogu becomes rightful wielder of the Darksaber.
-The Darksaber is destroyed and that storyline is never mentioned again.
-Boba, Fennic, Cad Bane, Hondo Ohnaka, Aura Sing, Chewbacca, and Maz Katana team up and take over the underworld. This has no narrative purpose other than fanservice for me personally.

Everyone on both sides going out of their way to get Freetown's name right is just hilarious to me. Cad Bane will happily shoot the place up, but damned if he doesn't respect their chosen name for it. Meanwhile in real life I have to know every name every road and business has had for the last forty years because everyone uses the first one they learned. They're acting like using the old name is something on the order of deadnaming an actual person.

Re: Book of Boba Fett Thread
For my previous preemptive complaint: Bane effortlessly beating Boba in a straight fight and then getting himself killed because he got cocky and stopped to gloat? That honestly works for me. Archetypal Spaghetti Western villain to the end.

This is like a reverse spoiler for me because I'm not sure if you're talking about what actually happened in today's episode or just referring to your own predilection (I haven't thoroughly followed your last 2-3 posts.) Effectively the son becomes the father, and I now take your predilection as consideration for my own.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 12:43 pm For my previous preemptive complaint: Bane effortlessly beating Boba in a straight fight and then getting himself killed because he got cocky and stopped to gloat? BridgeConsoleMasher will return (after seeing episode.)
