Carver is among the better Dragon Age 2 companions and Aveline is among the least. Bring it.

Actually, the process of writing works exactly like you just saw.BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 8:38 pmAren't you an Author? Shouldn't you be beyond typos by now?
Step One: *write thing*
Step Two: Editor points out mistake.
Step Three: *corrects thing*

Well, I often do my own editing but I wasn't paying attention.
So, Gowron it is!

Final Fantasy 7 is just a decent RPG that benefitted from a LOT of hype, and being a LOT of player's first RPG.
It's NOT bad, but it's only defining because of the timing.
I missed FF7, but started my RPG gaming with Skies of Arcadia, and Skies has become my benchmark for a quality RPG. (Skies of Arcadia isn't perfect either, and has its flaws.)
The same thing happened on a wider scale with FF7.
Another possibly unpopular opinion: Beautiful Graphics are tertiary to story and gameplay. If your game is beautiful, but your story is poorly performed and the gameplay/leveling is obtuse, your game isn't going to land as well with me as a decent looking game that has excellent story and good gameplay.
Specific examples:
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.
Radiant Historia.
Both games have okay to good graphics, but a heavy focus on story and enjoyable gameplay.
Other side of this example:
Final Fantasy X:
LOTS of pretty, but poor localization and a ham handedly told story and a needlessly complicated leveling system held it back for me.
I can see the frame of an excellent story in there, but the delivery fails it in my book.
