When trying to be facetious, at least try to be accurate rather than maliciously misrepresenting facts. Usage of the Force was always an innate physical trait, at least partially inherited through family-lines. The entire point of Luke being so special, special enough for a hidden Jedi to guard him in person was, that he was the son of the possibly strongest Force-user of the time, which nigh-guaranteed Luke being rather powerful himself and being A New Hope. Literally.
Yeah people were having that argument in the early naughties too.

I don't recall anything in Ahsoka implying none of this is true anymore.

Also everyone has some Midichlorians, so no that factor sin how the force worked never actually implied it's impossibly for a normie to maybe learn it.

I'm talking about reactions of people online. I don't actually think any of this is really supported by the text.

I'm come to the conclusion that Luke was just really crappy with the Force. Possibly one of the weakest Force users we've ever seen. Why? Because in between AFH and ESB (four years in-universe btw) he manages to fire a missile down an air vent move a lightsaber a few feet. But Rey and Sabine? What girl bosses they are to master the Force so quickly! Pretty much days in Rey's case she was outshining even Anakin. And yeah, Sabine isn't jumping 50 ft (yet) but she sure showed Luke how its done! Girl power!!

*Sigh* Sure, lol. The Force hasn't been changed one bit. No siree.

Luke (not counting Legends Luke who was basically a god) has been the weakest Jedi in the franchise who cruised to success on nepotism for a long time now. Sorry you had to learn it this way.

OR he adhered to the original rules of the Force. Y'know, back when it was a pathway to enlightment with a few mind powers attatched. You'll note that Obi Wan wasn't all that impressive magic-wise in the OT either. Nor was the Emperor come to that. Throwing lightning out of his hands was a sign of Dark Side corruption not how uber-awesome he was.

Sorry. No dice on this one, i'm afraid.

Yes because out of every Force user we saw prior to Disney, he had the least amount of training. It was almost like you had to learn and train to use the Force is more complicated ways and reliably.

Whereas, Obi-Wan who shut himself from the Force, hasn't trained in years with a lightsaber was able to best one that was constantly using the Force and training with a lightsaber. Then we got Rey.
I got nothing to say here.

Made even more painful by the fact, that Luke had no teacher in between Obiwan's death and his training under Yoda, a time-span of three years.

Exactly. Basically he had to learn by reading books and notes he found left behind. Both times when he fought Vader, Vader was holding back either due to seeing what Like was capable of and internal conflict. If Vader was serious Luke would have never stood a chance in either fight.

There is something to be said about power scaling in Star Wars and lack of it.

Frankly I hate when Fantasy give too much of a damn about power Scaling. Just like Magic be Magic.
