I've seen that ship around fairly often lately.

Shame it's a gambling-minigame-only ship.

We don't have it on Xbox yet. I've got 220 keys sitting in my account bank waiting for the lockbox.

On an off-chance anyone interested in STO hasn't noticed they're giving away free costume (and vanity shield that modifies ship's look) for the Khitomer Alliance. After Seven of Nine's outfit from ST: Picard and the Lincoln suit (with a top-hat no less) it's another free give-away and I'm honestly feeling spoiled.

Also after seeing ST:Picard I have to say I much prefer the STO time-line where the Klingons, Romulan Republic (born from the Romulan Empire's collapse and following Spock's teachings of Reunification) and now the Dominion as well are forming a big bad-ass Alliance and joining their forces - to whatever the Picard timeline's future looks like. Although I did notice that Rikker's fleet of copy-pasted ships did look quite a bit like some of the tactical variants of the Odyssey class.
Here are the new uniforms: Image

I have been curious to see Chuck's views on the story - such as it is at this point - for Star Trek Online. Maybe take each arc on its own (would be interesting to see how Chuck regards the Klingon War Arc, considering how, in my opinion, chopped up that has become recently). Him playing through the Klingon and Romulan character arcs would be interesting too. Though I could see him skipped over the Dominion character story, especially considering how bare bones it is.

I'd be interested in seeing SFDebris making videos on Star Trek Online in some shape or form as well, while the game is very much a Star Trek toy box (which isn't a bad thing), there are a lot of missions in game that touch upon the lore of Star Trek in a meaningful way, and brings up some interesting themes and ideas in it own right, also since you can fully customise your character, ship and crew, I'd love to see what he comes up with.

For those unaware - today a new chapter of STO has launched - The House Divided and it is bringing the spotlight and tension to the Klingon Empire and it's Ruling Council in what was coming ever since General Martok (voiced again by J.G. Hertzer) was found out to be still alive during the Gamma Quadrant storyline. What I don't think anybody was expecting is that Robert O’Reilly who played Chancellor Gowron on TNG and DS9 is coming to ST:O to voice the ancestor of Gowron who came through timey-wimey time travel with the main adversary of the story J'Ula. And it seems Rekha Sharma who played Ellen Landry in ST:Dis has had so much fun voice acting for STO that she's coming back - this time as a voice of a Klingon Commander Adet'pa.

Also worth mentioning quite a few of the older Klingon character models got reworked - Worf is looking better then ever, the First City on Qu'onos got a new coat of paint and several Klingon ship models got completely reworked and are looking better than ever especially the K't'inga Battlecruiser. Overall best time to play (and possibly review) STO from the point of view of a Klingon warrior IMHO. Also once again a great example of how STO is constantly improving the Trek experience.

Finished playing the new missions yesterday, I won't spoil anything and just say they were both fantastic.

Something I've always enjoyed about Star Trek Online is that their missions do feel like individual episodes that are unique rather than the usual MMO type of missions that blur together, and ever since the Gamma Quadrant arc the in-game cutscenes have always looked incredible and very cinematic, overall not bad for a ten year old game.

Just played "House Divided":

I just got finished with these two missions on Xbox and I have to say I really enjoyed it but am still kind of iffy on Jula. She's completely right about J'mpok and I'm glad we finally got someone pulling the trigger on the phaser that was the fact he was a dishonorable scumbag from the very start of the game. He's been the Garrosh Hellscream of the Klingon Empire since Day 1.

However, I'm still not sold on Ju'la as a character, though. She still comes off as a flat character that her "redemption" felt unearned. It doesn't help that Aakar being now played by Robert O'Reilly suddenly jumps in importance as a character that I kind of would have preferred him as the one to ally with.

Really, Jul'a started a fight with the entire Alpha Quadrant at the start of this series and is clearly not that smart given that she couldn't win a war against just the Klingon Empire. I admit, I liked my character's answers being, "Cool motive, still murder." I just wish I'd gotten a chance to say, "T'Kuvma was a lunatic who thought he was Khaless Reborn. I've met Khaless. He was a cool dude and T'Kuvma is no Khaless."

I was actually expecting Martok to betray us since he disses the Khitomer Alliance building and all the peace that has popped up in the past couple of decades. Either that or turn out to be someone impersonating him. I suspect he'll end up as Chancellor replacing J'mpok again but I kind of wish Worf would be (probably not possible, though).

I also like we're on the run, too.

Personally I really loved the fact that for once all the "main faction heroes" like Shon for the Federation and Jarek for the Romulan Republic weren't immediately on board with us and even though Shon tried his best to give us a chance to surrender peacefully - he ended up following lawful orders given by his chain of command and started fighting my Klingon captain for real to get to Ju'la. Only Koren joined my side and it was a really nice moment to see your character get recognized for his honorable work for KDF over the years.

Also I loved Martok's reminiscing about Klingon past as conquerors and it honestly gave me the last "oh shit" moment when I realized that my Klingon character really grew a lot since the days of the Undine inflitration/KDF vs Starfleet war and that even though he was still very much an honorable warrior he didn't feel the need to prove it the way most Klingons do - by beating somebody in combat. By subjugating others. That over the fights against the Undine, the Borg, the Felkhiri, the Iconian War and the Hur'Q invasion he has once and for all proven to everybody in the galaxy his courage and his martial prowess and that nowadays he's way closer to Worf - valuing his internal honor over whatever crap J'mpok tries to spin in front of the Council.
