Not too much longer to go 7-11 days depending on your location.

I'm holding out waiting for a price drop myself. While I love 2 and would like to have more of it, I'm not really tripping over myself to play it ASAP and I really have never at all called about this series's plot so I don't even slightly mind spoilers.

The internet's Kingdom Hearts discourse has long since been hilarious. I dunno how so many people work themselves into knots about how "complicated" a series that's mostly about the tripartite nature of people (that is, a person is composed of a Mind, a Body, and a Soul... or as KH terms it, the Memory, the Body, and the Heart).
I mean no mistake, Tetsuya Nomura is a hilarious writer and the series takes utter joy in using three pages where a paragraph would do, but it's not that hard.
But yeah, I've long since been WAY invested in this series, and even though there's almost nothing they can do plotwise to surprise the audience, just seeing how many of the juggling subplots they manage to remember will be interesting.
More than that SUPER wondering what complete nonsense surprise levels they manage to pull out. No one called freaking Pirates in KH2. What can they possibly do on that level.
I want to see how the story about Xehanort ends, so I am pumped and already have my pre-ordered copy two-thirds paid off.
There are some wrinkles in the series to be sure, but Kingdom Hearts 2 was brilliant, Birth by Sleep damn good, and Dream Drop Distance had some suitable epic moments. And Disney really gathered talent for the voices, with two sadly departed actors of great talent - Sir Christopher Lee and Leonard Nimoy - voicing key characters in the saga. Looking back, they've had quite a few talented VAs, and some who've become prominent since (Hayden Panettiere, the first voice of Kairi, went on to be Claire in Heroes, and Willa Holland - Aqua - became Thea Queen aka Thea Merlyn in Arrow and the WB DC shows).
Given how the trailers look and the tone the game seems to be taking, this game could be something special. Just as long as Nomura gives it a proper ending.
Also, Aqua is best Keyblade Master. 'nuff said.
