What dog breed would be best at pushing a basketball to the other side of NBA court aginst the best dog breed that matches up against him? He/she gained the sentience of an average NBA fan. The long sides of the court have walls. The goal is to push the ball out of bound under the basket.

Standard current NBA ball, start with both dogs having their noses and paws on the ball. Start at a whistle.

The dogs matching up have both the same level of sentience.

they spend a couple of months getting used to their dog bodies with human sentience.

A pit bull;
Fight the other dog until its incapacitated then push the ball to the other side.

I'm fairly certain German shepherds are the most competent at pretty much anything.

What makes you sure a sentient dog cannot push it away before being mauled into the right direction?

It's sentient dog vs sentient dog. I would say body, type and agility are more important.
