Favorite Doctor?

I don't know if anyone has done a thread like this, and there's too many pages to check through, but if not, I figured I'd be the first, now that I've seen at least somewhat of all of the Doctors enough to fairly judge, though this is always subject to change depending on how far I advance into Who.
For me, it's still no contest, I'm a huge fan of the Ninth Doctor. I just LOVE him. Eccleston is so seriously underrated, it hurts. In the "gun vs. frock" debate, well, from what I'm seeing... count me firmly among "gun."
But that's me. What about you guys? What's your favorite Doctor from Doctor Who?

Gotta be Tennant. He was my first. Though admittedly there are still some episodes of his I haven't seen yet. But I just love his quirks and charms. And he's cute >_>
For me, 10 > 11 > 9 > late 12 > 13 > early 12
I haven't really seen Classic Who outside the reviews.

Is 13 that bad? And is early 12 THAT bad? I know the ratings have been going down in recent years, and some dudebros like to blame the fact they've made the Doctor a woman (because how DARE a stupid lady trespass in man's domain!), but it seems as if this thing started with Capaldi. Or am I misreading this?

For context, I've seen a few 3 stories, one 4 story (Genesis of the Daleks) all of 9, 10, and most of 11 and that's it. My favorite is probably 11 >9>3>4>10. Not that I didn't like 10, I just like what I saw of Pertwee and Baker more.

Oh, wait I did see the Twin Dilemma. Poor Colin Baker is all I can say.

No she's not that bad at all. The only one I really don't care for is season 8 Capaldi. At least by season 9 he was improving, even if he needed the cards. But he was most likeable in season 10 and his interactions with Bill and Missy and everyone. I really liked him there, maybe even as much as 9. But I still put 10 and 11 above them all.
As far as ratings go, season 11's ratings were much better than most of Capaldi's run. However, it does have the issue of ratings going down almost every week, even if it still ended above Capaldi. Have to see how season 12 goes.

The Professor - which is to say, Seven when Ace is around. I find something to like in all the Doctors (yes, even Six) (yes, even even Hurndall, although that's more nostalgia than anything) but the periods when the companion/s have been as well-developed as the Doctor, and they're functioning more as a duo than lead/support, are the ones I think most highly of. That happened plenty over the decades, of course - Ian/Barbara, Jamie/Zoe, Jo Grant, Sarah Jane/Harry, Leela, Romana (I have to admit a preference for Romana I)... and if we're being honest, I'm not sure I'd rate any of the Five and Six companions quite as highly as those, although they had their merits (Tegan's close, if anyone). Ace really delivered in that regard - her and Seven were kind of a prototype modern Doctor Who before it was a thing.
In fact, one of the reasons I'm still a bit ambivalent about Nine and Ten, despite great performances, is that I just can't see Rose without seeing a lesser version of Ace in her. Martha was misused, and Ten was running out of steam a bit by the time Donna came on full-time to give him the companion he deserved. Amy/Rory along with Eleven's fresh start was a welcome return to the show firing on all cylinders.
If we're doing rankings - which really for me they have so many asterisks and qualifications next to all of them it's a bit silly, but whatever, it's a Friday afternoon let's relax...
Seven
Eleven
Twelve
Two
Thirteen
War
Four
Three
Eight
One
Nine
Five
Ten
Six
Hurndall
...Valeyard
But it's easier just to say my favourite Doctor is the Doctor.

@Sir Okay, sorry. I see so many reactionaries attacking all our mainstream entertainment like Star Wars and Star Trek and Doctor Who, it's got me a little paranoid. You can criticize a work without making it political. Chuck proves that.

@MissKittyFantastico Also, lol, where were you with my "War of the Galactic Empires" thread? You should have said the obvious winner would be the Galactic Empire with that kind of great reply.
