Trek Discovery as a show that fails to deliver...

Is it an interesting or a boring failure?

It's bringing back the male / female "skant" uniform to maintain that "cool, non-binary" look. I vote for "hilarious."

Seriously? Idiots. Do they even know what they're doing at those corporate offices? Personally, if I was gonna set the show ten years prior to TOS, I'd have had the characters wear the uniforms we saw in "The Menagerie" or "The Cage" pilot. Hell, even JJ Abrams was consistent on getting the uniforms right, give him credit for that. Hell, they could have had all the adventures of Christopher Pike on the Enterprise before Kirk, just imagine it! Such a waste. Is this what Trek has become? Just big-budget corporate fanfiction? Sigh...

I'm kind of morbidly curious now. I wonder what it's going to look like. Are they going to have some random crewman wearing it, or is an established character going to start wearing it. :D

Knowing STD, it's gonna be damn stupid. Like maybe Michael switches over and she's the one to start the fashion trend. Who knows? It's possible given how much of a Mary Sue she is.

They already introduced a character wearing a skirt uniform.

I've given up on the show but I enjoy watching reactions of youtubers to the episodes. They crucify the canon mistakes that I tend to shrug at (even though I'm bothered by them too)

and of course Chuck
