I love the unsettling feeling of the trailer.
I cant wait ^^
What do you think?

Those are pretty respected movies though.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 4:40 am This feels like a College Humor video satirizing the trend of turning exuberant children’s pulp adventure narratives into facile, navel-gazing serial killer stories.
It’s also by the guy that’s best known for making fratboy movies like ROAD TRIP and the HANGOVER trilogy. I have very low expectations of this.
I can understand not liking edgy superhero stuff, but DC is coming out with Shazam soon, which seems pretty light. Plus all of the goofy marvel movies. Having an occasional edgy comic book film isn't a bad thing, as long as it doesn't become the norm.Makeshift Python wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 4:40 am This feels like a College Humor video satirizing the trend of turning exuberant children’s pulp adventure narratives into facile, navel-gazing serial killer stories.
Martin Scorsese was the first name I remember being attached to this project. For whatever you can say about the Joker's redundancy, the fact that Scorsese was still somewhat involved has me interested.clearspira wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 6:59 am The Joker is overused. Bored with him tbh. And it doesn't help that Ledger did such an awesome job that the peak of the character has already been reached.
Most versions of him don't appear to be as grounded as this version appears to be. I am genuinely intrigued by Joaquim Phoenix' approach to the character. It doesn't fit 100% into any of the other characterizations-schemes so far and this combination piques my interest. It is roughly in line with Heath Ledger's version, displaying him as both crazy and extremely aware of the realities surrounding him, without making him a cackling mess like so many other incarnations of the characters (not criticising Hamill-variants, but simply appreaciating a very different approach).clearspira wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2019 6:59 am The Joker is overused.
