Could Nolan have started The Dark Knight with Hells Bells?

... By AC/DC. Would it have worked if he ran this at the start of the movie music-video style?

Also, that being given, would Dark Knight be any more impressive if it was the first movie?

I'm not the biggest AC/DC fan (they've been using the same 7 chords their whole career) but I think it would be an improvement over Zimmer's monotonous score.
The past tempts us, the present confuses us, the future frightens us. And our lives slip away moment by moment lost in that vast, terrible in-between.

Well, I do love The Highway to Hell.
