The Deleted Captain Marvel Scene

Post by Darth Wedgius »

Apparently a scene was left out of Captain Marvel where a guy asks her to smile and she uses her super-strength to torture him into giving her the keys to his motorcycle.

At least they left it out.

You'd have to ask them. Maybe they thought some of the audience wouldn't be progressive enough to enjoy it.

Apparently this biker was such a masculine character that he chewed on tobacco while smoking two cigarettes at the same time, grabbed every woman that passed him, had a very deep voice that would alone put women on orgasms, an eyepatch bolted into his skull, the scruffiest beard imaginable, had a tattoo on his arm that said "I brake for women", and kept talking about how the US has been going downhill ever since the country gave women and homosexuals the right to vote, thus confusing gender politics.

Shit... I mean, I'm all for liberal values and progress, and people like him the real world, baboon-apes, I call 'em, are shitheads who deserve a good beating, but this? Can you get any more ham-fisted? This is as subtle as a wrecking ball being smashed into a building made of anvils. No wonder they cut it...

Considering how much certain people already hate Captain Marvel (that by the way is good movie) it was good move to cut that scene because internet outrage over that would had been even larger than it already was.

Are you saying there was nothing wrong with the scene itself?

Shit, I think it's way too damned blatant. And yes, it's left-wing, but... what is the point past shoving it in your face strong women are good? Which, you know, I think goes without saying.

Imagine a man torturing a woman into giving up her motorcycle keys after she hits on him.
