My favorite scene in captain marvel

Since there's a lot of talk about a deleted scene that didn't even make the final cut, I'd like to bring up a reason I love this movie.
Edit: thank you professor detective

Re: My favorite scene in captain marvel
Odd as this may sound my favorite scene in CM is the Stan Lee Cameo just for Carol's little smile. Apparently that smile was actually added in during post production and because this was the first time time we'd seen Stan after his tragic death that smile, (along with that wonderful Marvel opening Logo that was a tribute to Stan) got a smile out of me as well.
As of the film as a whole, I don't think it's great but it's not as bad as some are making it out to be. Ghostbusters: Answer the Call was a boring movie with no real staying power and forgettable characters but CM is a overall fun ride.

Probably could have done without the "debate me" part.
edit: and "debate me" = "fight me w/out powers" btw.

Brie Larson had to have smiles added in post production?Winter wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:54 am Odd as this may sound my favorite scene in CM is the Stan Lee Cameo just for Carol's little smile. A little on the nose considering how much Jude Law looks like Ben Shapiro.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 7:26 pm...WHY?! That's the BEST PART!BridgeConsoleMasher wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 6:01 am Probably could have done without the "debate me" part.

I don't see the resemblance, and I just love an antagonist saying "prove you can fight me WIHTOUT your special powers/magic ring/unobtanium weapon/etc." and the hero going "Nah".
Like I'm pretty sure a third of the superheroes in the Marvel universe would've fallen for that.

To each their own I suppose.
But I'm going to have to disagree at the end of the day about the lack of resemblance:

I think Shapiro looks more like Agent Liberty in Supergirl than he does Jude Law.
