Anyone else got any other oft-forgotten blasts from the past they want to share?

Think I recall that one (although for some reason I could have sworn it was an ITV show) - iirc didn't the protagonists at least once cause predestination paradoxes due to their mucking about (vaguely remember one episode where a suspect was locked in a cupboard or something and then when the two protagonists went back in time one of them ended up being the person in the cupboard and had to escape before their past (future? Futurepast? Pastfuture? Oh dear I've gone crosseyed) self arrived to conduct the original investigation)? And didn't one of the protagonists try to use the time machine to win the lottery but because of the show's time travel rules it didn't work?nebagram wrote:This was an unexpected find in the local second-hand shop today. Anyone remember this phenomenally short-lived show from the late 90s? Thought it had some great potential, pity it got canned after 1 season of 8 episodes.
Yep. Think the episode you're referring to is the first one. Time travel in the show was very good at cleaning up after itself. And the female protagonist was indeed Kochanski 2. And I don't just mean the actress, but practically the entire characterisation as well.Dînadan wrote:Think I recall that one (although for some reason I could have sworn it was an ITV show) - iirc didn't the protagonists at least once cause predestination paradoxes due to their mucking about (vaguely remember one episode where a suspect was locked in a cupboard or something and then when the two protagonists went back in time one of them ended up being the person in the cupboard and had to escape before their past (future? Side note - relating this to SFDebris, the female protagonist in this is the second Kochanski from Red Dwarf.
