How does Data see the world?
Exactly what it says on the tin.

As happening very very slowly.

I'M SERIOUS. How do you think he sees the world? Like the Terminator? Like Chip from Not Quite Human? Like the T-X from T3?

He seems to possess a normal human vision but probably many times more exact and capable of processing information millions of times faster. So, Data probably sees every fiber on Riker's uniform.

Re: How does Data see the world?
From what I can remember of all the on-screen canon, I'd assume he has a 24th-century HD camera as his "eyes"
Nothing in the UV/IR range of the spectrum, no radar-lidar. If I recall correctly, one episode made a big deal of using Geordi's beyond-human range vision while Data was right there.

Re: How does Data see the world?
should also add, since Data has all that CPU power, he theoretically should see the world in slow-motion bullet-time (pigeons have this power too)---giving him the time to dodge arrows (which the Q-pid writers didn't think about)
in a way, interacting with organics must be incredibly tortuous and boring for Data, presumably with all the CPU he can predict/nearly predict everything a person will say/do before they finish their sentence.
no wonder Lore went mad and all evil

Philosophically or literally?
