Disney reportedly wants to make Luke Skywalker movie

Also like... why. We had four whole Luke Skywalker movies. Even if George came back he wouldn’t revisit Luke either.

This FB page I like always uses this site. They're usually just rumors, but I have to admit that they are pretty cool rumors.

I mean at the very least I think it's just an interesting idea considering how things turned out. I'm not particularly tired of Luke Skywalker for the matter at hand, and I still like entertaining the idea even if LF is to decidedly progress the franchise instead of go for nostalgia bait.

Also, this was from, like, two months ago. I already feel Overlord was misreporting this and that he himself goes on to add that you need to be skeptical should prove that. They're not gonna commit marketing suicide among the two wings of fandom, Legends fans and Disney fans, by rebranding the sequels SWL to change the canon timeline. It's not gonna happen. But could they, out of sheer incompetence? Possibly. I see no proof yet with The Mandalorian S2 coming out, more TV shows in the works, and even the HR upon us. I just think if you're gonna focus so much on TV shows and movies, why not give the older EU fans some SWL books and comics? But that's just me.
