Before the Disney buy out Lucas Art was developing a game called Star Wars 1313 and it was later revealed that this game was, in fact, going to be a Boba Fett game that showed how he became the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy. Then Disney bought the series cancelled the game, shut down Lucas Art and handed the gaming rights to EA who went on to make a number of games that bought up the question 'Do Loot Boxes Count as Gambling?'

However, this idea of exploring how Baba Fett became the Bounty Hunter that he is has still been left unexplored and with Disney not only bringing back Star Wars stories that they had cancelled, EA starting to realize that single players games are just as profitable as multiplayer games AND with a Boba Fett show on its way is it possible that Disney and EA might bring back this game that was abounded for no good reason.

The area that was going to be the main setting of the game is still there in canon, it's a game that just about everyone would be interested in and the people who were going to make are still around and still making some top tier games. Add to that Disney starting to reinvest time in Legends and Boba's origins as a bounty hunter remaining unknown I think it's possible.

Given the Mandalorian is currently the most popular Star Wars story out there I'd say that this was a no brainer.

Maybe, but I think:
1) Disney might try another publisher
2) Even if they do use EA, the game was cancelled years ago now and the assets probably need to be redone for the 4K era of video games.

Hm, maybe the could make new assets. New engine that similar to what we got over with Naughty Dog as the game clearly did borrow a lot from Uncharted.
