You think so? I genuinely enjoyed Lower Decks quite a lot, at least compared to Discovery and Picard. It wasn't fully there (I mean, it's season 1 so cut it some slack...), and a few characters did grate with me especially in the first few episodes, but overall I thought it was a great, pretty funny, and generally lighthearted loveletter to the franchise (a la Galaxy Quest). Certainly has potential to be really great.Worffan101 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 8:39 pm It sound less godawful than I feared, but I still don't like this idea very much. Especially since Lower Decks was such a mess outside of episode 9.

Episode 9 of Lower Decks was one of the best Trek episodes ever IMO. Certainly the best Trek comedy ep by a country mile.Muzer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 10:44 pmYou think so? (Sorry, I missed all the LD discussion when it first came out because we had to wait half a year for the UK release...)
