I might be alone on this one but I am a big fan of the original comic of "Invincible". It released just as I was getting to be the same age as Mark (Invincible) and it really spoke to me with its mix of extreme violence and classic silver/bronze age type superheroes.
I am super happy to see that this adaptation is a faithful update to the material with good animation and cast. I am glad to see it has already been renewed for seasons 2 and 3 and I hope that it remains popular enough for the whole story and maybe even the wide extended/spun-off world to take shape on Amazon. I think that "The Astounding Wolf-Man" and "Capes" would make for great little spinoffs or just weave their stories into "Invincible" as it goes on.
I hope other people take time to watch, and I hope they do not find all of the violence too sickening as the 8th episode would make the cenobites say, "yeesh, that is a bit much".
