Would the DC and Marvel multiverses merge into a superverse?

I think there would be such a major investigation over trust creating that it would never happen. I guess the Amalgam universe could be restarted again. Though if Warner was bought and Disney could keep the DC properties, I don't think they would merge continuities so much as have occasional crossovers more often. There are too many alternate company equivalents in each universe, Plastic man and Mr. Fantastic, Hawkeye and Green Arrow, etc, that putting them all into the same universe would cloud things up.

Oh wait, you meant that all the dc universes would be in the same multiverse as the marvel universes and not the same "main" universe. Maybe, though I could see DC Universe maybe still being a distinct multiverse that can only crossover with Marvel multiverse occasionally or something. I imagine Disney would cut a lot of DC's storylines and just keep Batman, Superman, WonderWoman etc.

I hear rumors Disney's gonna buy MGM, too, and my initial thought is...

"GOD, I HOPE NOT!!!"

Others will be worrying about James Bond, but for me, it's SG all the way. And we can't just close the iris. If Disney gets hold of DC and SG, be very afraid...

I would love to see more DC and MArvel crossover but having one company control that many IPS isn't good.

The DoJ would have them spinoff most of it for antitrust. If they wouldn't let them have Fox Sports AND ESPN...

Yeah it would be extremely unlikely for the U.S. government to let Disney own both of the major comic properties so they would be split off. not to mention all the other IPs Warner owns like Loony Tunes, HBO stuff and Mortal Kombat.

And lose the rights to freaking Superman and Batman? Unlikely.

Touchstone Pictures, production company for the movie The Rock, was owned by Disney.
