Should BioWare Focus More on Remasters and Remakes?

Let's be honest, BioWare is not in the best state right now. It's had two games that were critical and financial bombs and many of the creators have left the company. The only success they've had has been re-releasing one of their most famous works, the Mass Effect Trilogy which, (as far as I know), has been well received by critics and fans alike and is also proving to be a financial success with ME1 being the most praised for a number of smaller changes that have made a world of difference.
So, with that in mind, the question as to whether BioWare will make remasters or remakes of their games is not really a question of if but when but my question to all this is should they just focus on re-releasing their older games? I mean, who wouldn't want to play a remake of Knights of the Old Republic without the backtracking, more up to date gameplay and improved maps. Who would love to play Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2 but with tiny improvements to combat in DAO and a number of minor fixes to reduce the repetitiveness of DA2. Or to play Jade Empire and show everyone the underrated gem of the BioWare Canon.
On top of that re-releasing the older games would give developers time to focus on plans for the future as re-releasing or remaking older classics is a LOT Easier then making new content on a limited time scale. EA will make all the money they want, fans gets games that we know are good along with getting fans exited for the future by reminding us why we loved these series and it would help remind BioWare what made them so great to begin with.
Thoughts?
