SG-1's "A Matter of Time" VS Atlantis's "Inferno"

Which impending doomsday story do you prefer? Honestly, I'm hard-pressed to say. You so rarely get black holes with the actual physics done right, and with its placement in the timeline, if that baby had gone, then all hope for humanity would have perished, but at the same time, I mean, you rarely see SF even touch on the simple but equally destructive monster buried within a planet's crust that a supervolcano is. Only other instance I can recall is 2012, but the physics there were... eh. Either of these could have been a big Hollywood blockbuster, and while I love the black hole, I think maybe I love "Inferno" a little more because, I mean, the physics are just so on-point, early SG-1 is still a bit rough, I consider it a contrast to how far the Tau'ri had grown, and like... when I first saw "Inferno," I was shaking my head. How is it that STAR TREK at their prime never covered this? I'm sorry, but which verse was the smart science-fiction show again?
But anyway, what do you think in this big battle of the crossovers? Which one do you like better?
