Will Revan's Gender be left Ambiguous the Future SW Stories

This was something hammerofglass suggested in my post asking if players could play Revan as Non-Binary.
Would this be seen as just a cheap way to try and appease fans, very likely, but at the same time consider people who won't play any of the KOTOR games. Revan is mentioned, the scene in question builds them up as this legendary Force User who helped stop the Mandalorians but then fell to the Dark Side only to lose their memory and then helped in the fight against the Sith. All of which will happen regardless of player choice as even if you choose to take over the Sith Empire you, as Revan, always starts the game against the Sith and you always fight Malak at the end of the game.
People love a good mystery and if done right the lack of information about Revan can be useful in building up this history around the character to get fans interested.
It's an interesting idea, that the mystery around Revan is such that no one is even sure what their gender was which also allows ALL Revan's be canon. Not that Revan is always referred to as they/them but also, he/him and she/her. It happened so long ago and the records have been lost so no one knows for certain.hammerofglass wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 2:02 pm What I think would be fun is you make a non-binary option. Then have NPCs always refer to Revan as they/them no matter what you pick and make everyone refusing to explain it a Mystery. When The Reveal happens you have two paths; if the player chose a man or woman then Revan started doing it to help the Anonymous Avatar of the Dark Side aesthetic they had going and everybody just rolled with it out of politeness, and if the player chose non-binary you just get a fun "oh, I guess that makes sense" moment.
