Hair Styles You Would Like in the Next Mass Effect and Dragon Age?

This is something a lot of fans have been asking for from BioWare for a while which is to have more hair styles and ones that are not gender neutral. Now, me personally I always prefer short hair styles for my characters due to wanting to be more practical yet, I must confess that I would like to have more styles including ones that are more feminine or are just cooler looking instead of being rather bland.

One thing that should be noted is that the reason BioWare likely never gave players to many options or longer hair designs was more likely a result of the limitation of hardware. Long hair is hard to program and as shown in various player mods it often looks rather awkward in game as the hair kinda sticks to the shoulders and doesn't move much.

However, technology has advanced and it's now possible to have long hair that looks more natural and the concept art from the Behind the Scenes Trailer for Dragon Age 4 had every female character with long hair and while that may change if we are given more options for hair styles for Mass Effect and DA what styles would you like to include?

For the record this is one I've long wanted in a BioWare game.

I really hate the "I've just had half of my head shaved for brain surgery" look, but ultimately technology had advanced to the point where lackluster character customisation is just lazy.

Dragon Age has taken on a style that is very clearly influenced by Heavy Metal and this is a concept art piece for DA4.



Namaari's hair style is honestly tamed compared to DA's style at this point and was used in a Fantasy film that was clearly meant to emulate ancient South East Asia.

I think I would protest putting in long or 'fad' hairstyles to the original Mass Effects and I think facial hair should be drastically scaled back. Because Shepard is in the military. They have their own grooming code and it is rather big on short hair.

Since I always changed to one behind the ears and short I don't recall it other than box art. And I count box art as fantasy of what is inside. But I shall eyeroll at the wrongness of said style.

To the original question: waist-length curly hair with braids along the temples meeting behind the head and going all the way down in the middle of that glorious waterfall of hair.

Because there's no way in hell I'm trying that logistical nightmare in real life but it's so cool.

Although it is the future it possible that what is and is not acceptable for the future has change.
