First!

All and all it was a pretty straight forward episode. I was a bit curious with where it was taking it or coming from so to speak but all and all it worked well as a teaser episode in the Marvel streaming fashion.

I've always loved this premise for a character, at least so far as the episode seems to exhibit.

I am interesting in seeing how they use the design they use for the thumbnail.

Apparently, some Turkish viewers didn't like that show referenced the Armenian genocide. It's quite baffling how people like that try so hard to downplay such a horrific event.

Found out Moon Knight's soundtrack is composed by Hesham Nazeh, who has composed for a number of films here in Egypt, most notably his first film soundtrack Hysteria, which was during his graduation year from Cairo University.

He also did the soundtrack for the Pharaohs Golden Parade in 2021.

I finally watched the series. Six episodes. A bit short but honestly there wasn't much in the series anyway to make it longer.

I really had no knowledge of Moon Knight. I just knew he was just there. I am sure I probably would have mixed him up Taskmaster and Ghost.

Anyway unlike the comics, Moon Knight isn't just a human wearing a costume who is incredibly athletic and deadly trained. He actually has super powers granted through supernatural means.

There is alot of what I assume Egyptian music in the series which makes sense since it does use theor mythology. And part of it is in Egyptian.

If you knew nothing about Moon Knight, you might be confused what is going on at first. One of the more comic accurate parts of the series is Moon Knight and who he is.

I have to watch this one back to back. This is the first one I'm inclined to start doing so, but yeah I think I have to get used to this format of punctual miniseries.

He actually does have powers in the comics...sometimes. It depends on the story.

The reason he never had powers at first was because they were playing with the idea that Khonshu wasn't real and this was all in his head. However, after they dropped that and confirmed that he really was his Fist after all, it made sense for him to gain supernatural abilities. The show has barely scratched what he is actually capable of- the guy could summon mummies at one point.

I was only going by Wikipedia. My knowledge of Moon Knight is very limited.

It's an issue I have the more Marvel introduces more characters. Their list of superheroes is top heavy in terms of audience recognition. They know of the basics, like Captain America, Hulk, Spider Man and War Machine outside of X-Men and Fantastic Four.

And Iron Man and War Machine maybe due to the arcade games. Iron Man was at one point a B List super hero for majority of his run.

MCU is now having to dig for other superheroes. And it gets to a point where many would say 'who?'
