Silly Thing I Just Noticed About the Predator Films

We all know that iconic Predator Roar, it goes a little something like this.

But can you believe that this roar has only been used in 3 of the films? Yeah, it's only shown up in the first Predator film, Alien vs. Predator and Prey while Predator 2, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, Predators and The Predator all used different roars for the Predators. Oh sure the clicking and growls are more or less the same across the films but I find it funny that this iconic roar is so sparingly used in the series.
Also, and this is just a personal funny thing, but Predator, AVP and Prey are my favorite films in the series. Is there some sort of Star Trek Music/Movie curse going on here. Trek films that have the main character sing are bad, Predator films that actually include the iconic roar are good, or are at least my personal favorites?
